Say Goodbye To Your Lice And Dandruff In 15 Minutes

Lice and dandruff are two common conditions that affect the scalp. While they share some similarities, lice and dandruff are two different conditions and require different treatments.

Head lice are contagious parasites, while dandruff is a self-contained scalp condition. You can’t catch dandruff from anyone else, although it tends to run in families.

Knowing the differences between lice and dandruff can help you treat your scalp condition properly.

The causes of dandruff and lice couldn’t be more different. Lice are parasitic insects that crawl and spread to others through close contact.

On the other hand, dandruff is a non-contagious inflammatory skin condition. Buildup of shampoo on the scalp, excessively dry or oily skin, and autoimmune conditions like psoriasis are common causes of dandruff.

Because lice and dandruff can be caused by excess yeast or bacteria on the scalp, and yeast and bacteria need a specific ph to thrive, changing the ph of your scalp can help eliminate the problem.

One way to easily change the ph of your scalp is to apply vinegar to it. Vinegar even has the added benefit of alleviating some of the inching associated with lice and dandruff.

The Vinegar Massage

Plain old apple cider vinegar for dandruff itself is quite an effective treatment.

1. Take 3 tablespoons of vinegar and massage onto the scalp only, not the entire hair length because you will just end up drying it.

2. Massage gently and leave it on for about 15 minutes.

3. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and follow it up with a conditioner.

Applying vinegar to your scalp on a regular basis can really help to remove your dandruff problem.
